Clove essential oil

Clove essential oil is extracted from Eugenia Caryophillata, a plant of the Mirtaceae family. Known for its many properties, it is antiseptic, antiviral, analgesic and antispasmodic. Antiseptic: used in aromatherapy to purify the air in rooms. Antiviral: Has effects against the herpes simplex virus. Analgesic: it is used to soothe toothache in case of caries and exerts an effective localized anesthetic action, if properly diluted and used with a small soaked cotton swab. Smooth muscle antispasmodic: indicated in case of abdominal pain (bloating, intestinal cramps), muscle spasms. Diluted in a carrier oil, massaged on the abdomen or on the muscle band to be treated, it infuses a beneficial pain-relieving heat.
